Is Your Dog Cold?

Is Your Dog Cold?

Just like humans, dogs can get cold.  They can't verbally tell you when they're in need of another layer over their natural fur coat, but there are other ways you can tell.  Here are some signs:

  • Shivering or shaking
  • Whining or barking
  • Hunched posture with tucked tail
  • Acting anxious
  • Lifts paws off the ground or limping
  • They feel cold to your touch (ex. cold ears)
  • Loss of appetite
  • Stops walking and wants to turn around when outside
  • Seeks shelter
  • Slow moving
  • Extreme sleepiness

If you notice any of these signs, chances are that your furbaby is cold and uncomfortable.  A sweater can make a big difference in their comfort level, whether they're indoors or outside.

Cultured Wags Swag offers Dog Sweaters in unique, original designs.  They're made to go over the head and the front legs will slide through the openings, so your dog's hind legs are free and not constricted.  Your furbaby will thank you for it, in licks and snuggles!
